H.H. Shaikh Mohammad bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Inaugurates Bahrain International eGovernment Forum & Bahrain IT Expo 2013

Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain – 8th April, 2013 - On Monday morning, H.H. Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology (SCICT), inaugurated Bahrain International eGovernment Forum 2013 in its sixth edition at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel & Spa. The forum is organized by the Information & eGovernment Authority (eGA) in cooperation with Bahrain Internet Society and the Project Management Institute (Arabian Gulf).

More than 100 Projects are Evaluated in eGovernment Excellence Award

Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain – 3rd April, 2013 - eGovernment Excellence Awards 2013 jury announced the completion of the evaluation process of the award’s participating projects. The jury will also prepare the reports for those who were unlucky to win the award. Announcement of the Excellence Award winners will take place during the official opening of Bahrain International eGovernment Forum 2013 on 8th of April. His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology, will honor the winning entities and projects.

eGovernment Excellence Award Jury Begin Evaluation Process of eProjects

Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain – 13th March, 2013 - Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology; the organizing committee of the 6th eGovernment Excellence Award 2013 has announced that the jury, which comprises of international and local members, commences the evaluation of more than one hundred entries for this year’s awarding event. This follows the recent close of submissions for the award on February 28th.

eGovernment Excellence Award 2013 Deadline Extended

Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain 20th February, 2013 - In response to the demand of potential innovative participants and in a bid to allow an opportunity for the maximum number of applications, the organizing committee of the eGovernment Excellence Award 2013 announced that the registration deadline of the award has been extended to February 28th 2013. The awarding ceremony is organized under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology (SCICT).

Nomination Doors are Opened for the eGovernment Excellence Award 2013

Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology; the organizing committee of the sixth eGovernment Excellence Award 2013 has announced that the nomination period has begun and will continue till next February 21st this year. It is opened to all innovative participants - individuals, government and private sectors as well as NGO’s.
