The Deadline for the eGovernment Excellence Award has been Extended to February 20th

In response to the demand of potential participants and in a bid to allow an opportunity for the maximum number of applications, the registration deadline of the eGovernment Excellence Award 2012 has been extended to 20th February 2012. The award, in its fifth year, is organized under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology (SCICT).

eGovernment Authority organizes a workshop for the Bahrain Internet Society members and guests

With firm belief in its role in developing the information and technology arena and involving the NGO’s and Private sector, the eGovernment Authority recently held a workshop in cooperation with the Bahrain Internet Society (BIS) on the launch of Excellence Award 2012 to the BIS members and guests from the private sector and other Non‐Governmental Organizations (NGO’s). The workshop involved a presentation on the eGovernment Excellence Award 2012 organized for the fifth time in a row under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology.

eGovernment Authority Organizes Excellence Award 2012 Workshop

Dedicated to trigger positive engagement, the eGovernment Authority (eGA) recently organized a two-day workshop for employees of ministries and governmental entities on the forthcoming eGovernment Excellence Award 2012. The event, in its fifth edition, is organized under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology.
