This award category aims to support the achievement of sustainable development goals in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector by promoting digital inclusion for all segments of society, ensuring access to digital government services, and empowering beneficiaries with the necessary digital skills. The category also supports the integration of vulnerable groups, including elderlies, persons with disabilities, and disadvantaged communities, into the digital economy, thereby enhancing economic well-being and competitiveness across GCC member states. Examples of eligible initiatives include digital literacy and training programs for vulnerable groups, as well as the provision of subsidized digital devices.
